Lydia Abaga (Mrs.)

Mrs Abaga graduated from the University of Jos with a Bachelor degree in Special Education. After she graduated, she worked as a Trainer at the Great Commission Movement of Nigeria where she trained various staff across Africa.

She moved to become a Facilitator for Peace and Reconciliation of Gender Rights. Thereafter, she advanced her education and received a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, and established the first Guidance and Counselling Department in a Secondary school in Jos, where she built a strong and friendly relationship with the students.

In 2007 Mrs Abaga moved to Africa International College Abuja where she again pioneered the Guidance and Counselling Department providing the students with career guidance, subject choices and all-round support.

With a combined experience of over 30 years, Mrs Abaga has embraced her God-given potential to lead an Institution of this magnitude through Spiritual excellence.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage everyone at AIC to take health and safety precautions.
